2011-12 Bowling Season Information PDF Print E-mail

It is once again time to kick off the new bowling season. Our first night of bowling will be the 10 year anniversary of destruction of the twin towers in New York City. Yes that is correct the bowling season will start on Sunday September 11th at 6pm. Normally bowling practice starts at 6:15 and bowling at 6:30, however, everyone needs to be a few minutes early to get the teams organized and the sanction fees paid and forms filled out.

Pricing for bowling this year will be the same as last year. There is a one time charge for sanction fees $20 for USBC unless you are sanctioned through another league and $5 for the IGBO sanction fee. Then each bowling night the fee is $13, whether you are present or not. This means that on the first night that max you will need is $38; which is the USBC sanction, IGBO sanction, and bowling fee. As usual any money not actually remitted to USBC or to IGBO will go into the league prize fund.

The new league schedule has not been finalized yet. However, as soon as it is final I will be updating the schedule information.

I will be sending out a mass email to all existing members and prospects with this information. I am looking forward to seeing each and every one of you on the 11th. I hope that we have as great a season this year as we did last year.

In a gay relationship and haven't made any steps toward protecting your partners interest. Then perhaps it is time to make those steps before they are needed. Some medical conditions and problems dealing with my Dad has forced the realization that I needed to make some plans before it is too late. I have spent quite a bit of time in the past reviewing the various options that are available and the steps that need to be taken. In my research I ran across Rainbow Law and decided they had the most complete packages available and also had excellent pricing. Rainbow Law is run by Carrie and Elisia, one has a law degree and the other was a paralegal.

Bowling Etiquette
  • Observe a one lane courtesy rule. Don't step onto your approach until after the person who's using the lane next to you is finished rolling their ball.
  • Don't make any loud or sudden noises while others are on the approach. They're most-likely trying to concentrate.
  • Don't bring drinks into the approach area [This includes ten feet from the console]. Wet shoes can ruin yours or anyone elses approach.
  • Have a happy heart. It's contagious.
  • Don't use profanity, it ruins others' time.
